Tokyo, October 29, 2025 – Mitsubishi Motors Corporation unveiled the Mitsubishi Elevance Concept, an electrified crossover SUV concept, at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The showcase highlighted an adventure-inspired lineup including the new Delica D:5 prototype and the all-new Delica Mini.
Mitsubishi Elevance Concept
The Mitsubishi Elevance Concept integrates electrification and all-wheel control technologies to deliver a premium adventure-focused driving experience. It features a quad-motor 4WD system with Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC), enabling confident handling from city streets to off-road environments.
The PHEV system combines electric driving with an engine compatible with carbon-neutral fuels, while a large-capacity battery supports outdoor activities such as glamping when paired with a trailer.
Exterior Design Inspired by the Luxe Adventurer Concept
The exterior blends a seamless cabin with a muscular lower body, balancing elegance and strength. A rib-bone frame-inspired structure enhances rigidity, while an evolved Dynamic Shield design and honeycomb grille convey sophistication and power.
Eco-Friendly PHEV System and Electric 4WD
The Elevance Concept operates primarily as a quiet electric vehicle for daily driving, with hybrid flexibility for long-distance travel. Quad-motor 4WD with advanced traction control ensures stability, comfort, and enhanced off-road capability.
AI Co-Driver and High-Class Interior
The AI Co-Driver provides personalized destination suggestions and optimal drive mode recommendations. Inside, a seamless shell-type interior, large panoramic displays, and three-row seating create a refined, comfortable environment for long journeys.
Delica Series and New Models
Mitsubishi also showcased the Delica lineup, including the enhanced Delica D:5 prototype and the all-new Delica Mini. Both models emphasize versatility, outdoor capability, and modernized design while maintaining the series’ long-standing reputation for reliability.
